It’s a good thing I didn’t make one resolution last year. It turns out I’m not so great at making promises I have no intentions of keeping. He.he.
One thing I did pick up in 2011 about myself came from quite a few people, including my pastor. They said ‘you don’t really celebrate yourself…do you?’ I thought long and hard about it, and the reason why that’s the case is because in my mind, cause for PERSONAL celebration often comes with a prerequisite. Ex. ‘Make goal. Achieve goal. Celebrate.’ ‘Want something. Earn something. Celebrate.’
But seeing it from their perspective, I of course have many things to celebrate from 2011. It’s just that…None of them were planned.
